What I want to know about greek mythology is how they came up with these myths about the world. I also want to know why the english language and culture is influenced so greatly by Greek culture. Why didn't the early peoople choose a different path to follow? I know a good amount of greek mythology from reading the Percy Jackson series, also in History we are studing the Greeks. I know a couple of myths. One of them is the Achilles tendon. Achilles mother dipped him in the river Styx, and held him by his ankle. She did this to make his skin invinceable, his only weak spot was his heel which wasn't dipped. Unfortunatley he took an arrow through his heel and died.
